Scottsdale, Arizona – The Native Comedy Jam and fundraiser benefit will bring Awareness to Cancer amongst Native populations and surrounding areas in the southwest. 

The show’s intention is to raise funds for treatment of our funny lady “Sh-Girl”/Teresa Choyguha and to bring Native laughter to the attendees, “Native Comedy Jam Takes Over Scottsdale"! 

Also Featuring long-time friends of Teresa & Native Celebrity Comics: Drew Lacapa, Adrianne Chalepah, Wolf Brown & Antonio "Gohk" Davis

According to Mayo Clinic, Multiple myeloma is a cancer that forms in a type of white blood cell called a plasma cell. Plasma cells help you fight infections by making antibodies that recognize and attack germs.

Multiple myeloma causes cancer cells to accumulate in the bone marrow, where they crowd out healthy blood cells. Rather than produce helpful antibodies, the cancer cells produce abnormal proteins that can cause complications.

Treatment for multiple myeloma isn't always necessary for people who aren't experiencing any signs or symptoms. For people with multiple myeloma who require treatment, a number of treatments are available to help control the disease.

The fundraising monies collected or donated at the comedy event on 11/20/19 will assist Teresa and her family’s ongoing expenses related to cancer treatments in Tucson, AZ. Ongoing expenses include: Stem cell harvesting ($10,000) and transportation and housing in Tucson, AZ for treatment, after surgery and assistance for her care.
