Taiko Extravaganza 2018 - The Tree of Life

featuring Hawaiian Prayers of

Tampos 'Ohana

Saturday, June 23 at 7 p.m.

Scottsdale, Arizona – Ancient Sounds of Peace (WYVEAA ) co-produced by K2 Enterprise, presents “Ken Koshio TAIKO EXTRAVAGANZA 2018 – The Tree of Life” taking place at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts for the 4th annual show in Arizona (first one in 2015).

Our past shows have been a big success to reach a lot of local people through the message of Koshio’s Life Beats. The last audiences commented how they felt connected to the soul and energy throughout this masterpiece of performing art.

The theme of this year’s show is “The Tree of Life” as the art form of drum beats and the roots of our indigenous spirit are intertwined to celebrate and experience the colorful diversity of cultures and generations. Since ancient times, Taiko in Japanese means drumming beats (太鼓) and ancient time (太古). They are connecting our ancestral expression from the past to the future, even as a taiko creates "life beats" from a past living tree.

Koshio’s passion is to share the most rewarding experience possible and express the importance of our origin. This amazing collaboration of diverse cultures and different] style of artistic expressions will be brought to the stage, in tune with the rhythms of nature within our Grand Canyon State of Arizona as womb (胎内) of the earth.

This show is a variety of expressions, dynamics of fusion beats, music, dance, and vibrations for all generation.
